CERTIFICATE II IN ENGINEERING STUDIES (22470VIC)

This is a pre-apprenticeship course designed for those wishing to enter the engineering industry. Gain skills in machining, welding, assembly, measurement, maths, safety, and reading engineering/CAD drawings.
CERTIFICATE III IN ENGINEERING - MECHANICAL TRADE (MEM30205)

Duration: 4 years full-time, apprenticeship
Location: Bendigo Charleston Rd campus
This stream prepares students for a career as a tradesperson, with prospective occupations including maintenance fitter, toolmaker and fitter/machinist.
CERTIFICATE III IN ENGINEERING - FABRICATION TRADE (MEM30305)

Duration: 4 years full-time, apprenticeship

You will learn skills and knowledge in light, heavy fabrication and welding, which are required to begin a career as a fabrication tradesperson.

Duration: Competency based completion

This course will cover higher level post-trade skills such as computer controlled machining or advanced welding, fluid power and AutoCAD. Undertaken as either an apprenticeship or non-apprenticeship.

Duration: 1 year full-time, 2 years part-time

This course is designed for new entrants to the engineering industry as well as for those holding existing qualifications. It provides a comprehensive technical base to enter work at the para professional entry level.
DIPLOMA OF ENGINEERING - TECHNICAL (MEM50212)

Duration: 1 year full-time
Location: Bendigo Charleston Rd campus
This course provides high level training for engineering technicians. Included core application subjects as well as interaction with relevant computing technology.
COURSE IN FUSION WELDING TO ISO 9606 FOR EXPERIENCED WELDERS (22462VIC)
Start date: We offer rolling enrolments, start when it suits you!
Duration: 3 weeks full-time, 9 months part-time
Location: Bendigo Charleston Rd campus
The ISO 9606 welding standard is in demand for major manufacturing and engineering projects such as rail, light rail and tram production as well as for shipbuilding, aircraft manufacturing and defence force contracts.
